Our Goal
Many of today's children and youth have unhealthy eating patterns that can have negative consequences for their health and education. The Chestnut Ridge Food Service Department, in partnership with the food management company, The Nutrition Group, are very concerned about the health and well being of the customers we serve. We understand that proper nutrition is an important element of good health and readiness in the learning process. Both the Chestnut Ridge School District and The Nutrition Group's Wellness Committees have established nutritional goals that are to be achieved for the welfare of all students of the district. In addition, the Nutrition Group is committed to offering nutrition education lessons to students.
