National Honor Society

The Shawnee Chapter of the National Honor Society is an invitation-only organization designed to recognize outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Students may be invited during the fall semester of their junior year if they have a 3.5 GPA (out of 4.0) at that time. To remain a member in good standing after one is inducted, a student must maintain a 3.2 GPA and complete 27 service hours and 4 service projects annually. It is truly an honor to be a member of this select group.
