Parental Concerns

Educating and raising children is both a rewarding and challenging endeavor.  The Chestnut Ridge School District recognizes the critical importance of working with parents and caregivers to meet the needs of students in the district.  

If parents and caregivers have concerns, please contact your child's teacher, guidance counselor, or principal to discuss these concerns.  If you are concerned that your child has a disability, difficulty forming relationships with peers or adults, difficulty attending school regularly, struggling with academic tasks, or any other concerns, please share those concerns with your child's teacher, guidance counselor, principal, or special education administrators.  A template of a letter of concern is provided below.
